Collection Agencies

If you fall behind in paying your debts, your account may be turned over to a debt collector or collection agency. A debt collection agency is anyone, other than the creditor to whom you owe money, who regularly collects debts for others, including attorneys. Usually, debts are not turned over to a collection agency until they are far past due.

A collection agency can contact you in person, by mail or over the phone. Their job is to collect the debt you owe, for which they earn a commission. Because their living depends on collecting debts. they are often more aggressive and persistent than the creditor might be.

But it doesn't have to get that far. As creditors, we want to work with you to help you repay your debts. You've been a good customer to us in the past, and we'd like to continue the relationship. Contact us and discuss with us your problem, the sooner the better. We're eager to work out a livable solution that eases your burden so you can pay your debts.
